Our live-online or in-person two-day Certified Scrum Developer training course is ideal for agile developers, including programmers and testers. In the course, you will learn the following:

  • How to turn business needs into increments of value: The course provides an introduction to Scrum through the eyes of a developer.
  • Collaboration and Team Dynamics: The characteristics of highly effective teams and how to interact with users, customers, and other stakeholders.

The course includes hands-on exercises where participants practice the key agile development practices.

Our live-online CSD course is interactive, engaging, and fun. It’s instructor-led and designed using training from the back-of-the-room techniques. As a result, it leverages the science behind how the human brain learns. Our course is:

The course is taught by ScrumCenter’s Founder, Simon Roberts. He has a wealth of experience supporting large, medium, and small companies to adopt agile into their organisation through consulting, coaching, and training. He has been a developer, architect, project manager and founder of a software and hardware venture capital-backed startup and leverages this experience in his training.

Simon is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), a Scrum Developer Educator, a Path to CSP Educator, an Agile Coaching Skills Educator, an ORSC® Trained Coach, a Trained Leadership Agility 360 Coach and a Changewise-Authorised Leadership Agility Coach. He has trained/coached thousands of people over many years.

 

For the online version of this course, you will need a laptop or desktop computer (no chromebooks). Access through a tablet or phone is not sufficient. We recommend that you use a personal laptop or PC as work laptops may not give full access or provide full functionality, which is required for the course.

Your computer must have a camera and microphone (built-in cameras and microphones are OK).

The course uses Zoom and a web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended). Please make sure your Zoom client is up to date.

You do not need a computer for the in-person version of this course.

Agile and Lean Coach (ORSC™ Trained), Certified Scrum Trainer®, Path to CSP Educator, CSD Educator, Agile Coaching Skills Educator.
The course is taught by ScrumCenter’s Founder, Simon Roberts. He has a wealth of experience supporting large, medium, and small companies to adopt agile into their organisation through consulting, coaching and training. He has been a developer, architect, project manager and founder of a software and hardware venture capital-backed startup and leverages this experience in his training.
Simon has used lightweight/agile methods since the late 1990s and works with organisations large and small to help them achieve better results by leveraging the power of self-organising teams. He has consulted for and led several large-scale agile transitions at DAX companies in Germany, is the author of several articles and regularly speaks at conferences on agile leadership.
