This two-day Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) course is a highly interactive, in-depth course covering the values and principles of Agile and Scrum, a detailed look at the role of the Product Owner and a whole range of creative techniques for maximising the value of your product within the scrum framework.

Upon completion of the course, participants are awarded the title Certified Scrum Product Owner®.


The Product Owner role is the focus of the course and the course is oriented towards people who will be taking over this role. It is also suitable for business analysts, product managers, line managers or Scrum Masters who want to deepen their understanding of Scrum product ownership.

Professional Development Units

PMI PMPs can claim 14 PDUs for taking part in this course.

This course also satisfies two elements of the Certified Scrum Developer programme “Scrum Introduction” and “Elective”, and is hence suitable for those who wish to become a Certified Scrum Developer® (CSD).

Your Trainer

Simon Roberts MBA is an experienced Scrum coach and Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). He has been using Scrum and helping organisations to adopt Scrum since 2002 and using agile/lightweight methods since the end of the 1990s. He has in-depth experience in introducing and coaching Scrum in large, medium and small organisations.


The material is divided into modules. During each module, the trainer will guide you through exercises that help you connect the material to your existing experience, learn new concepts and experience the concepts through practice. Questions are welcome at any time.
